What is therapy and how can it help?

Therapy or counselling...

...Is a talking therapy that allows you to have a non-judgemental, supportive space to explore and really focus on what you're feeling and experiencing, with the aim to uncover the root causes of our emotional responses.


We all experience difficulties in our lives at various times which can affect our mental well-being and can feel overwhelming. Having the space to talk about any concerns or feelings in a safe confidential environment can be a transformational experience.


Therapy, however, is not an advice service, it's a way of assisting you to find your own answers and gives you the potential to facilitate change and enhance yourself awareness.

What is therapy for?

Are you struggling at present or feeling overwhelmed? Maybe you're suffering with low self-esteem or confidence, perhaps you're having relationship difficulties or are trying to manage the impact of trauma whether past or present. You could have trust issues or feel angry, sad, stressed or anxious, but can't understand why.
